Year 6 memories of Riverdale

When I walked through the Riverdale school gate the principal Mrs Peck was there to take me to my class. Room 6 and she took me to meet my teacher.The next year came I had new friends like Philip, Mitchell, Logan, Kennedy, Nasir, Ali, Alec and more.We were all in LC10 I had Loads of fun because Mrs T was letting us play games alot. And sometimes she had to go to Te Puwai and we got to have Mr MCcallum. Now that I'm in LC12 it has been a lot different. I play touch I'm one of the student councilors and I am a year 6 and I am going to leave to Intermediate Next year and all the fun things that I did in Riverdale I will never forget.Riverdale is the best.

Introduction.

My eyes were pealed to the wickets I started to run up and then I saw the crease I swung my arm around and let the ball go.The ball spun until it hit the ground and then it bounced up high the batter missed it and i hit the wickets “Howzaaaaaaat” I yelled out. when the game finished I told my mum that cricket is the best sport in the world.

Body
I am going to tell you why cricket is the most competitive sport in the world. There are many positions, the first one is batting. In Batting there are two people that are in. one person is striker that is the person that hits first and the person that waits at the other end is the runner. The batters compete against the other team, two people at a time competing against fielders and bowlers to score as many runs as they can. When you are a bowler you compete against the batters. I love bowling I like trying to get people out and how you get better and better I like how you win so much no one can beat you.But when you lose it sometimes doesn't matter because its only about you having you fun.

Conclusion
So now that you have listened to me you should have a go at cricket and see if you like it or not so that’s all I’m gonna tell you. So thanks for listening.

Is to bowl two people out in a row.

when the day I bowl two people in cricket.

Is to get up to 3a for writing.
I will know when i have achieved this goal when:
When I have gone up two writing levels and got up to a level 3a.
To achieve this goal i will need to:
practice my writing each day till I go up levels.

Gone to wellington and greytown in two days.

On Saturday morning we had to get up at 9:00 so that we could get to wellington at 11:00 as we were driving we stopped because mum wanted new shoes so we stopped and my brothers and I asked if we could have subway so she said yes but we only got to have sub of the day that cost 3:90 when we got back to mum we got a present new shoes I didn't get some because i didn't want them so when we got to wellington we played with our cousins Samuel, Maggie and Quin Samuel Joshua and I played soccer all day it was fun then the day after that we went to Greytouwn we went to a fair it was awesome I got two sausages and they were yum then we headed off back to palmy it was good to be home.

Soccer

On Saturday morning I played soccer we faced the A team last time we faced them we won 4-1 but they had people missing so as we kicked off in like the 18teenth minuet they scored a goal everyone was puffed as the half way whistle went we all thought it was time to score a goal. then as they kicked off we tried hard to get the ball off them then as it was five minuets to the full time whistle it was our corner everyone in my team was calling for the ball so I didn't know what to do with the ball so I just kicked it and it quickly curved into the goal YES! I scored everyone was screaming yes then the full time whistle m=went it was a draw so it had to be a penalty shoot out so as we started the shoot out everyone in our team scored except Nasir the score was 65 we won yes we won everyone was happy and then as one of the marist westies player came up to us and said we are gonna face you next week.

Term 3 goals

School goal: My goal for this term is to get up to independence level 3.

Home goal: Is to make my mum happy till the end of the year.

Process :
I made it my self without any help.
I didn't make it in cardboard.
I tried my best at it and i succeeded.
I think I did well with the wallet because I succeeded on it.
Reflection:
I think I need to change it a bit because it is breaking a bit
and it mite break and would probably not be able to make another one.

One day I was walking down the street and saw that I had ended up at a gate that I have never seen before it said do not take the risk! and had a picture on it it looked like a o gar. I turned around and went back home after we had dinner at 8.00 and when it was 9.30 i went to bed then when I closed my door behind me I quickly got my torch, my shot gun, some water, some food, and a liter. then i put it under my bed and waited for my mum and dad went to bed I waited till they went to bed at 12.35 in the morning so i climbed out of bed and quietly jumped out of my window and then I landed on some think. When I jumped up I said i do watch out I do Karate then he said wait I your friend David OK i said well what are you doing here I said same as you he said ok then lets go I said when we got there I told him to get his grass cutter and cut the chain then it took 35 minuets to cut the chain then we slowly crawled inside and then i turned on the torch and looked every where then i sudently i saw a ripped gate i slowly walked to it i told David to come here we looked for any o gars their weren't any then we heard the gate close aaaahhh i heard that was David where are you i said. he didn't answer i ran to the gate some think grabbed me by the back aaaahhhhhhh he said hello i said who are you?i asked he said Shrek then i fainted and when i woke up i was at my house in bed then i thought it was all a dream.

what I need to work on: I need to work on my spelling.
why I need to work on this goal: I need to work on spelling because I am not very good at spelling big words.
how do I achieve this goal: I have to keep practicing hard words at home and school.
did i achieve this goal: yes because i have been practicing spelling at home for my home work.
how do I know that i have achieved this goal: I know because I am getting harder and harder words that I cant spell.

Self Assessment: How good I am: I think I am bet-ween 100 and 60 i am about 75.

How good Ive been doing: I think i have been doing really well but just need to practice on my spelling.
