Year 6 memories of Riverdale

When I walked through the Riverdale school gate the principal Mrs Peck was there to take me to my class. Room 6 and she took me to meet my teacher.The next year came I had new friends like Philip, Mitchell, Logan, Kennedy, Nasir, Ali, Alec and more.We were all in LC10 I had Loads of fun because Mrs T was letting us play games alot. And sometimes she had to go to Te Puwai and we got to have Mr MCcallum. Now that I'm in LC12 it has been a lot different. I play touch I'm one of the student councilors and I am a year 6 and I am going to leave to Intermediate Next year and all the fun things that I did in Riverdale I will never forget.Riverdale is the best.

Introduction.

My eyes were pealed to the wickets I started to run up and then I saw the crease I swung my arm around and let the ball go.The ball spun until it hit the ground and then it bounced up high the batter missed it and i hit the wickets “Howzaaaaaaat” I yelled out. when the game finished I told my mum that cricket is the best sport in the world.

Body
I am going to tell you why cricket is the most competitive sport in the world. There are many positions, the first one is batting. In Batting there are two people that are in. one person is striker that is the person that hits first and the person that waits at the other end is the runner. The batters compete against the other team, two people at a time competing against fielders and bowlers to score as many runs as they can. When you are a bowler you compete against the batters. I love bowling I like trying to get people out and how you get better and better I like how you win so much no one can beat you.But when you lose it sometimes doesn't matter because its only about you having you fun.

Conclusion

Term 4 goals

Home goal:
Is to bowl two people out in a row.
I will know when I have achieved this goal when:
when the day I bowl two people in cricket.

Keep practicing and make no mistakes in the real game.
School goal:
Is to get up to 3a for writing.
I will know when i have achieved this goal when:
When I have gone up two writing levels and got up to a level 3a.
To achieve this goal i will need to:
practice my writing each day till I go up levels.
